Dear Parents,

This is the live virtual version of this (game) course. This version includes access to the (online version) of the Detectives Case File Room. If you would like to purchase paper copies of these documents (available in my self-paced) game version, it is available at https://professorblackmore.com/product/unsolved-murder-files-2-live-camp-paper-file/

In this course, we use multiple video examples and then we test each concept by quizzing the students. Students in this age category are not as willing to engage verbally and this model works best and most efficiently encourage discussion. Before enrolling, please consider if this model is a good fit for your student and please also read the information below in the “Learner Supply”. After enrolling, please read the full listing of class requirements in the Welcome/Classroom area to confirm that this class is a good fit for your student. We appreciate your consideration and your enrollment.

“Pay Back” – Shortly before dawn, Investigators arrive at the scene of a homicide on a quiet, neighborhood street. A van has barreled off the road and crashed in front of a house. The victim inside was found riddled with bullet holes. The van could be an important piece to this homicide puzzle. This is a (3-Part) course using Homicide Detectives cases to teach Criminal Justice, Social Studies, Civics and Law.

Students will learn the following concepts within this fun fact pattern:

– Crime Scene Investigation Techniques / Balistics & Bullet Trajectory
– Forensics and autopsy Techniques – Fingerprints
– Forensics – Latent Fingerprint Lifting Techniques
